The 20 Basic Training for School-Age Staff meets
the STARS training requirements for the following
child care programs:

  • School-Age Child Care Program - providing
    care for children 5 years to 12 years

This training does NOT meet the training
requirements for child care programs providing care
for children 1 month to 4 years old.

The 20 hour basic online training is the traditional
20 hour basic curriculum completed directly on our
training website.  

Our online system is simple to navigate and user
friendly.  It has been successfully tested on Internet
Explorer, Firefox, and Safari.

All assignments are stored in an online database.  
Simply answer the questions and click submit.  It’s
that simple!  You can complete part of the
assignment, save and return to working on the
same assignment at a later time.

What do I do if I need my certificate
immediately when I complete the training?

No problem!  Just call or email us.  Once you
complete the training, we will expedite the process
and provide you with your certificate ASAP.
